Hyderabad: Government of India identified top 12 bureaucrats from across the country for their exemplary work in the ‘Improving Service Delivery and Addressing Public Grievances’ category.
These are the officers who would be further screened for prestigious Prime Minister’s Award-2020.
From the youngest state of India, Telangana, the young IAS officer Devarakonda Krishna Bhaskar (IAS Batch 2012), Collector, Rajanna Siricilla District figured in the list.
It’s the same district and constituency from where the young MAUD and IT Minister of Telangana and also the son of state Chief Minister, KT Rama Rao emerged victorious.
The other two IAS officers from southern states who figured in the list are Mutyala Raju Revu, District Collector, West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh and Dr. D. Sajith Babu, District Collector, Kasarkod, Kerala.
Other officers shortlisted among the top 12 are Andra Vamsi, DM, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, Sang Phunstok, Deputy Commissioner, Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, Yash Pal Meena, District Collector, Nawada, Bihar, Mukul Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Yaumuna Nagar, Haryana, Shafqat Iqbal, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Jammu & Kashmir, DM Mugalikar, District Collector, Parbani, Maharashtra, Ghanshyam Tori, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandar, Punjab and Baghwati Prashad Kalal, DM, Sirohi, Rajasthan.
