Dehra Dun: TO THE NEW recently opened a new office in Dehradun’s IT Park to leverage the area’s diverse talent pool and support its growth strategy. With this addition, TO THE NEW now has 6 offices across the globe. Besides its main delivery centre in Noida (India), the company has offices in the United States, United Arab Emirates, Australia, and Singapore. The new office aims to generate employment opportunities for the locals and expand services for its clients.
The Dehradun office is the first of many small satellite offices that TO THE NEW plans to open as part of a future strategy. Through this expansion, the company will continue its hiring efforts, facilitate collaboration, and provide more choices to its employees (fondly called Newers). The company is even planning hiring drives in the city’s engineering colleges.
Mr. Narinder Kumar, COO & Co-founder, TO THE NEW, said, “Dehradun was the obvious choice for our new office considering we already have more than 50 people from Dehradun and its reputation as an educational hub. Our new office will help us drive technology innovation and focus on local talent & fresh graduates so that they can help support the existing clients.”
As per TO THE NEW’s internal survey, 53% of the Newers wanted to work from home, 40% preferred a hybrid working setup, and 8% wanted to return to the office. Based on these results, the company adopted a hybrid work-from-home model that offers the flexibility of working from anywhere which would help Newers strike a balance between work and personal life.
Although the Newers can work remotely, the office space is still available for those who want to work from the office. No matter where they work, all corporate policies, benefits, and other amenities remain the same for everybody in the company. By the end of the fiscal year, the company intends to hire 100 new employees in the Dehradun office.
