The Anant National University (AnantU) collaborates with University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) to launch a certificate programme in global education entrepreneurship and innovation. The programme was conducted from December 6 to 9, 2022.
The certificate programme was an immersive week-long boot camp that included lessons from Penn’s graduate schools of education in education innovation. The programme provided critical knowledge, skills, and tools to seed, accelerate and scale entrepreneurial practice in education.
The course was delivered by the UPenn senior faculty at the AnantU campus to a group of 14 participants. The certificate programme had 5 modules and was open for education industry leaders, school leadership teams, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, policymakers or anyone interested in addressing critical issues in education through innovation.
The programme was designed to create a pathway for seeding, accelerating and scaling entrepreneurial practice in education. The students in the programme had access to a network of global education leaders and trained participants in addressing real-world problems in areas such as navigating the education investment landscape and finding a product-market fit.
The immersive week-long programme was combined with customized in-person and real-time virtual sessions along with online modules using UPenn’s lean start-up curriculum, design thinking, and project-based learning.
