Details of bank accounts, Aadhar numbers of landowners and cultivators, land, and crop cultivation are being collected and digitized to provide one-stop solution to the farmers in need of government assistance.
The portal is designed to enable the farmers to easily get benefits of various government schemes such as crop loan, incentive for paddy and sugarcane, relief assistance under the state disaster response fund, and benefits from 13 agriculture and allied departments.
The portal will be useful not only to farmers but also to government departments, officials said.
An official from the agricultural department said that a second round of special camp will be held in the district on Tuesday. The camps will be held in all the village administrative officer’s office simultaneously.
Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has requested all the farmers to immediately hand over the details to the village administrative officer or agricultural officer and ensure that their basic details are recorded on the website.
