New Delhi: The National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) recently launched the 2nd Edition of the National Cyber Security Exercise ‘Bharat NCX 2023.’
The inauguration of this event took place on October 10, in the presence of Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, Deputy National Security Advisor Rajinder Khanna, and National Cyber Security Coordinator (NCSC) Lt General MU Nair.
From October 9th to October 20th, Bharat NCX 2023 will be conducting a hybrid training program, designed to offer extensive training to senior management and technical staff members from government and critical sector organisations, as well as individuals from both public and private agencies.
The primary goal is to provide participants with the knowledge and expertise needed to tackle modern cyber threats, efficiently handle cyber incidents, and develop strong response strategies.
According to the press release, this initiative is a result of a collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), demonstrating a strategic partnership dedicated to strengthening India’s cybersecurity environment.
Bharat NCX 2023 acts as a unifying platform for more than 300 participants, encompassing a diverse mix of government agencies, public organisations, and private sector representatives.
Apart from its training and strategic components, Bharat NCX 2023 will also highlight the creativity and adaptability of Indian cybersecurity startups and Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) through an exclusive exhibition, the press release added. The exhibition is expected to host over 200 Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) from government agencies, public organisations, and the private sector.
