Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government recently made changes to the postings of IPS officers. Following are the details:
- IPS Umashankar Dash, currently serving as the Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP), has been appointed the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Special Intelligence Wing (SIW).
- IPS Brijesh Kumar Rai, who was previously serving at the state police headquarters as the DIG, will now serve as the new ACP.
- IPS officer Lalit Das, an ADG-ranked officer who previously held the position of director of printing, stationery & publication, has now been assigned the role of ADG for the human rights protection cell (HRPC) of Odisha police.
- IPS officer Amrit Mohan Prasad, currently serving as the DGP of the HRPC, has been transferred and posted as the DG of prisons and Director of Correctional Services, Odisha.
- IPS Arun Kumar Ray, a DG-ranked officer who has been serving as an officer on special duty in the home department, will now be serving as the Director of printing, stationery & publication.
