New Delhi: IOFS officer Nazeem Ahmed A has been named the Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Minority Affairs. The selection was made according to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS).
His tenure spans for the period of four years, commencing from the date of assuming office or until further notice, whichever occurs earlier.
A 2011-batch officer of the Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS), Ahmed was recommended for the Central deputation by the Department of Defence Production. The order issued instructs that he be promptly relieved of his current duties with immediate effect to assume his new responsibilities in the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Delhi.
