ACC approves empanelment of key officers for central leadership roles

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) recently approved and announced the empanelment of numerous officers who will proceed to hold posts at the Centre. Following are the names and appointments of the officers:

• Two officers from the Central Secretariat Service (CSS) have been empaneled. CSS officer Shubha Thakur and CSS officer Sanjeev Kumar Jindal, both from the 1989 batch, have been empaneled to the level of Additional Secretary/Additional Secretary Equivalent (AS/AS Eq.) and Additional Secretary Equivalent respectively.
• Two officers from the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) department have been empaneled. IRS (IT) officer Vikram Sahay from the 1992 batch, and IRS(IT) officer Rahul Navin from the 1993 batch, have both been empaneled to the level of AS/AS Eq.
• Two officers from the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) have been empaneled to the level of AS Eq., namely IRT (IT) officer Navaljit Kapoor and IRT (IT) officer Manoj Pandey, both from the 1992 batch.
• Two officers from the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) have been empaneled. IA&AS officer Deepak Narain from the 1993 batch has been empaneled to the level of AS/AS Eq. and IA&IS Puja Singh Mandol from the 1995 batch has been empaneled to the level of AS Eq.
• An officer from the Indian Railways Traffic Service has been empaneled. IRTS officer Tripti Guha from the 1993 batch has been empaneled to the level of AS/AS Eq.
• Four officers from the Indian Forest Service (IFoS) have been empaneled. IFoS (MN) officer Anuraj Bajpai, from the 1994 batch, has been empaneled to the level of AS/AS Eq. IFoS (MP) officer Sanjukta Mudgal and IFoS (MP) officer Asit Gopal, both from the 1990 batch have been empaneled to the level of AS Eq. IFoS (PB) officer Sunil Kumar from the 1995 batch has been empaneled to the level of AS Eq.
• An officer from the Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS), from the 1992 batch, has been empaneled to the level of AS Eq., namely IRPS officer Anant Swaroop.
• One officer from the Indian Postal Service (IPoS) has been empaneled to the level of AS/ASEq., namely IPoS officer Alok Pande.
• One officer from the Indian Police Service (IPS) has been empaneled to the level of AS Eq., namely IPS (HY) officer Hanif Qureshi.

In a separate order, the ACC approved the empanelment of the following officers to the level of Secretary/Secretary Eq.:

• IFOS (UP) officer A. Neeraja from the 1990 batch has been empaneled to the level of Secretary/Secretary Eq.
• IRS (C&IT) officer Alok Shukla, from the 1988 batch, has been empaneled to the level of Secretary Eq.
• Indian Defence Estates Service (IDES) officer P. Daniel, from the 1989 batch, has been empaneled to the level of Secretary Eq.
• IRPS officer Rashmi Chowdhary, from the 1989 batch, has been empaneled to the level of Secretary Eq.
• IPS (HS) officer Shyam Bhagat Negi, from the 1990 batch, empaneled to the level of Secretary Eq.
