New Delhi, Sep 29(APAC Media): Nitin Jain has joined Saxo Bank as Director of IT and Head of Engineering, bringing more than 19 years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture and digital transformation.
In his new role, Jain will lead engineering initiatives, oversee technology architecture and work on digital solutions aligned with the company’s business requirements. His responsibilities will include supporting technology scalability, application development and engineering operations.
Before joining Saxo Bank, Jain served as Senior Vice President and Head of Engineering at Bajaj Capital Ltd, where he led technology and engineering functions.
Jain previously spent around a decade at Midland Credit Management. During his tenure, he progressed to Senior Manager of Software Development and led an engineering team of more than 50 professionals.
His experience includes AWS cloud architecture, application modernisation, DevSecOps, continuous integration and software engineering. He has also worked on technology transformation and improving the reliability and scalability of enterprise systems.
Jain’s appointment comes as financial services companies continue to invest in engineering capabilities, cloud infrastructure and digital platforms to support evolving business and customer requirements.
