New Delhi: ITradeS officer Tanu Singh , from the 2012 batch, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Justice under the Ministry of Justice. The decision was confirmed by an official order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).
According to the order, Singh’s appointment falls under the Central Staffing Scheme and is valid for a period of four years from the date she assumes the post or until further orders are issued, whichever occurs earlier.
Currently serving as the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade at the Government of India, Singh has been instructed to be relieved of her present duties immediately. The order instructs her to take up her new assignment in the Department of Justice.
