New Delhi: Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility (WIML), known for its ‘Joy e-bike’ electric vehicle brand, has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Triton EV, a leading US-based electric vehicle manufacturer.
The MOU signing ceremony materialised at the Wardwizard Head Office in Vadodara, where Himanshu Patel, Triton EV’s Founder, and Yatin Sanjay Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility, formalised the agreement.
This strategic alliance designates WIML as Triton EV’s chosen manufacturing partner for battery-operated trucks in India and the UAE. Additionally, WIML is set to expand its manufacturing capabilities to produce two and three-wheelers for Triton EV.
Under the agreement, Triton EV will share technology related to hydrogen battery packs used in two and three-wheelers. This collaboration also encompasses technology support for the establishment and expansion of production lines in India.
Notably, both companies have committed to sharing vendors and suppliers, fostering a streamlined and efficient business operation. WIML will take a central role in vendor development, ensuring a seamless and interconnected supply chain.
WIML is gearing up to commence the manufacturing of hydrogen battery-operated trucks, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers in India, in collaboration with Triton EV.
Yatin Sanjay Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., stated, “WardWizard shall support TEV in manufacturing electric trucks, two & three-wheelers for the India and UAE markets from its state-of-the-art facility in Vadodara.
