New Delhi: NBCC (India) Limited, a government-owned enterprise, recently announced that it has secured a Rs 262 crore project to redevelop the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Housing complex in the national capital.
According to NBCC’s statement, the “Bhoomi Poojan Ceremony” for the redevelopment initiative at KG Marg was held on February 14, 2024. Notable attendees included YK Sailas Thangal, Joint Secretary in MEA; Nidhi Anand, Senior Architect, MEA; and K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC.
The project, valued at approximately Rs 261.70 crore, entails the construction of 54 Type-VI Quarters, 18 Type-IV Quarters, and 18 Transit Quarters, among other infrastructural developments. MEA and NBCC aim to upgrade infrastructure and improve living standards for residents.
