Maharashtra: IAS Abhijit Bangar, IAS Amit Saini appointed Additional Municipal Commissioner in BMC; more officers transferred

Mumbai: IAS officer Abhijit Bangar (2008 batch), and IAS officer Amit Saini have been appointed Additional Municipal Commissioners in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Bangar was previously posted as the Civic Commissioner of Thane and is replacing IAS officer Dr P Velarasu (2002 batch). Velasaru is currently waiting to be posted. IAS officer Bhushan Gagrani has been appointed Commissioner of BMC.

IAS officer Ashwini Bhide, has been posted as the Managing Director of Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.

IAS officer Sourabh Rao will now serve as the Municipal Commissioner of Thane, and IAS officer Kailas Shinde as the Municipal Commissioner of Navi Mumbai.

IAS officer Ankit has been posted as the CEO, Zila Parishad (ZP), Buldhana; IAS officer Shubham Gupta has been appointed CEO, ZP, Jalgaon; IAS officer Vishal Narwade is now the CEO, ZP, Dhule.

IAS officer Sanjay Meena is the new Commissioner of Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA), Nagpur. Meena is replacing IAS officer Manoj Kumar Suryawanshi, currently waiting to be posted.
