New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results for the Class 10 board exams today. This year, the overall pass percentage has risen to 93.60%, up from 93.12%. 212,384 students, making up approximately 9.49% of test-takers, have achieved 90% or higher, compared to 195,799 last year. More than 47,983 students have scored 95% or above, compared to 44,297 in 2023.
Girls have outperformed boys by a margin of 2.04%, with a pass rate of 94.75% for the former compared to 92.71% for boys. The number of students placed in compartment has decreased from 6.22%, compared to 5.91% last year.
District-wise performance saw Trivandrum at the top with 99.75%. Following are the rest of the top-performing districts in Class 10th Exams 2024:
- Vijaywada – 99.60%
- Chennai – 99.30%
- Bengaluru – 99.26%
- Ajmer – 97.10%
- Pune – 96.46%
- Delhi East – 94.45%
- Delhi West – 94.18%
- Chandigarh – 94.14%
- Patna – 92.91%
Students can access their results through cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and umang.gov.in. The exams were held between February 15 and March 13 and took place across more than 26 countries.
