New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results for Class 12 board exams ahead of the expected date of May 20. In this year’s exams, 87.98% of students passed this year with more than 24,000 candidates achieving scores exceeding 95%. More than 1.16 lakh students have scored more than 90%, and the number of students placed in compartment has slightly decreased in number compared to last year, totalling over 1.22 lakh.
Girls have surpassed boys in performance in the CBSE Class 12 2024 Board exams by a margin of 6.40 percentage points, achieving a pass rate of over 91%.
Students can now view their results on the official website, cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in and umang.gov.in, or through alternative platforms such as the Umang mobile app, DigiLocker, and the IVRS system. To access their results, students have to enter their roll number, date of birth, and other details on the CBSE website.
This year nearly 39 lakh students participated in the CBSE board exams across both Class 10 and Class 12, beginning on February 15. The Class 12 exams concluded on April 2, 2024.
