New Delhi: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) released the Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) results at 11 am today. For the ICSE Class 10th exams, the overall pass percentage for 2024 was recorded at 99.47%, and for ISC Class 12th it was recorded at 98.19%.
Kerala surpassed the national average with a 99.99% pass rate in ICSE and 99.93% in ISC results. Uttar Pradesh also recorded a pass rate of 99.14% in ICSE Class 10th and 97.94% in ISC Class 12th results.
Although more boys appeared for the ISC and ICSE exams, girls outperformed boys in both the ISC 12th and ICSE 10th examinations in 2024. The pass percentage for girls in Class 10th was 99.65% and for Class 12th was 98.92%.
A breakdown of the total number of candidates who appeared for the exams is as follows:
For ICSE there were a total of 2,43,617 candidates with 1,30,506 (53.57%) boys and 1,13,111 (46.43%) girls appearing for the exams. For ISC, the total number of candidates amounted to 99,901, with 52,765 (52.82%) boys and 47,136 (47.18%) girls taking the exams.
Students can access their results via the official website – cisce.org or results.cisce.org. The ICSE Class 10 exams for 2024 concluded on March 28, while the Class 12 exams concluded on April 3, both conducted in a traditional pen-and-paper format.
