New Delhi: Indian solar module manufacturer Vikram Solar recently received a 250 megawatt (MW) order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL). According to the Letter of Intent (LoI), Vikram Solar will be responsible for manufacturing, testing, and delivering high-efficiency bifacial solar PV modules for deployment at the MW RE Park in Village Khavda, situated in the Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
The modules will have a minimum capacity of 540Wp and a maximum capacity of 570Wp. They are listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) and are expected to speed up the growth process of solar energy infrastructure in Gujarat.
