Girish Kulkarni given additional charge as CISO, eHealth Research Center, IIIT Bangalore

Bengaluru: Girish Kulkarni has been given an additional charge as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the eHealth Research Center (EHRC) of the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIITB). Kulkarni is currently posted as the Principal Consultant & CISO at NIMHANS & NIMHANS Digital Academy in Bangalore.

This appointment is for the Tele Manas Project, officially known as the National Tele Mental Health Programme (NTMHP). The initiative was launched in October 2022 by the Government of India, in response to the rising mental health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The project aims to deliver 24/7 affordable, unprejudiced, and quality tele-mental health services across India, especially in remote areas.
