New Delhi: Arvind Kumar Talan has been named the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the state-owned Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). As CFO, Talan will oversee all EESL financial activities and ensure that the company meets all legal and statutory requirements, according to the announcement.
He has 25 years of progressive post-CA experience in various industries, including fertilizer, automotive, logistics, and agriculture. According to the EESL release, Talan has extensive experience in finance and corporate governance. He spent his first nine years with IFFCO Ltd. before joining M&M, where he held various positions in multiple locations.
Prior to the role, he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Jet Freight Logistics Ltd (JFLL), a publicly listed company in Mumbai, for 2.5 years. He has also worked with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) for around 14 years, holding various positions and traveling to numerous places. He served as CFO and CS in Australia for five years.
