New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has announced the reappointment of two officers. Retired IAS officer Dr P. K. Mishra has been reappointed as the Principal Secretary to Prime Minister. Additionally, retired IPS officer Ajit Doval is reappointed as the National Security Adviser.
During the term of their office, both of them will be assigned the rank of Cabinet Minister in the Table of Precedence. Their appointment will be co-terminus with the term of the Prime Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The terms and conditions of their appointment will be notified separately to both the officers.
