Mumbai: IndusInd Bank Limited has announced the appointment of Amitabh Kumar Singh as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and member of the Senior Management Personnel (SMP).
The appointment is part of the bank’s effort to strengthen its leadership team across key functions.
Singh brings with him 28 years of experience in human resources. He has spent the last 21 years with the ICICI Group, where he held several leadership roles. Most recently, he served as CHRO at ICICI Home Finance.
During his tenure with the ICICI Group, Singh worked 11 years with ICICI Bank and eight years with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, contributing to major HR initiatives across the organisation. Before joining ICICI, he worked with companies such as L&T Ltd, Atos Origin India, Tata Interactive Systems, and Mphasis Limited.
Singh holds a postgraduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (PMIR) from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi.Â
IndusInd Bank said Singh’s vast experience would help drive its people strategy and organisational growth.
