New Delhi: Tally Solutions has partnered with Indian Bank to integrate digital payment capabilities into its accounting software, TallyPrime, through the bank’s cash management platform, IND Cash Optima. The collaboration aims to streamline financial operations for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by combining accounting and banking functions on a single interface.
Under the partnership, Indian Bank customers using TallyPrime will be able to initiate and manage vendor and payroll transactions directly from the software. The integration allows automatic recording and reconciliation of payments within TallyPrime, reducing the need for manual data entry and minimising the scope for human error.
According to Tally Solutions, this integration can cut payment and reconciliation time for small businesses by over 70%, a crucial efficiency gain for firms managing frequent payouts. The system also supports importing payment references such as UTR numbers from Indian Bank’s platform, enabling automatic status updates and transparent communication with vendors and employees.
Executives from both organisations highlighted that the partnership reflects a growing push toward digital financial management in the MSME sector. Indian Bank stated that linking its IND Cash Optima with TallyPrime aligns with its focus on supporting enterprises through secure and automated payment systems.
Tally Solutions, which serves over seven million users across India, the Middle East, and Africa, has been expanding its connected services for small businesses. The integration with Indian Bank marks another step in its strategy to enhance digital capabilities for MSMEs, aligning with the broader shift toward automated financial workflows in India’s business ecosystem.
