Karnataka introduces the world’s first digital water data bank

Bengaluru: The IT Minister for Karnataka, C N Ashwath Narayan, launched India’s first ever digital water data bank ‘AQVERIUM’, formed by AquaKraft Group Ventures. The government has initiated the program to improve water management as the state’s water problem and pollution is worsening.

The digital water data bank is an upcoming global initiative to improve the water management system. The Digital Water Data Bank is a curated list of water data from various institutions and sources that will address some common development challenges.

In addition, the Digital Water Data Bank offers research and analytics-based insights and proof, offering basic, trustworthy data for addressing water pollution.

C N Ashwath Narayan, CEO of the Bengaluru-based company, launched the company’s digital startup. He said that it is a unique innovation combining sustainability and urging startups to take a holistic approach to finding a solution to a crisis that affects not only India but the entire world.
