New Delhi: Effective July 1, 2024, Deepak Goel will become the Group Coordinator of the Cyber Laws and Data Governance division of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). He succeeds Sandip Chatterjee, who will retire from MeitY on June 30. At the National Informatics Centre (NIC), scientist Deepak Goel designs and builds IT solutions for the government.
