New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has introduced a new Post Graduate Diploma program in Disaster Risk Reduction Management.
This effort aims to provide professionals with the skills and information they need to reduce disaster risks and manage crisis situations efficiently. IGNOU’s PG Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction Management is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified disaster management experts in a variety of sectors.
The curriculum includes a wide range of topics, such as catastrophe preparedness, response tactics, risk assessment, and sustainable development techniques.
Students of the postgraduate diploma in disaster risk reduction management will be eligible for positions in the private, public, and non-governmental sectors that deal with risk management and catastrophe response.
