Noida, Apr 18 (APAC Media): Vivo is set to introduce its flagship X300 Ultra smartphone in India, with reports indicating a launch on May 7, 2026, and sales expected to commence from May 14. First unveiled in China, the device marks Vivo’s most advanced “Ultra” series offering for the Indian market, targeting the ultra-premium smartphone segment.
The X300 Ultra is expected to compete directly with high-end flagships such as Samsung Galaxy S-series Ultra models and Apple’s Pro Max lineup, with pricing likely to start at around Rs 1.5–1.6 lakh in India, according to industry leaks.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage in its top-end configuration. It is expected to sport a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display, offering a 120Hz to 144Hz adaptive refresh rate for smoother scrolling, gaming, and enhanced multimedia performance.
Photography is the key highlight of the Vivo X300 Ultra, which is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup comprising a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, developed in collaboration with Zeiss. On the front, the device is likely to offer a 50MP selfie camera for high-resolution selfies and video calling.
The device may support advanced external telephoto accessories, including a Zeiss 400mm teleconverter, aimed at professional-grade zoom photography. This positions the smartphone as a hybrid imaging device targeting creators and photography enthusiasts.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to pack a 6,600–7,000mAh battery, backed by 100W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging support. Additional premium features may include Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, IP68/69 dust and water resistance, and an advanced cooling system designed to sustain high-performance usage.
