New Delhi, Sep 30(APAC Media): Zscaler has promoted Sanjay Yadave to Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), expanding his role from leading the company’s Greater Asia business.
The leadership change comes as companies across APJ increase their use of AI agents and focus on securing their growing AI workloads.
Sanjay Yadave’s New Role
Yadave will oversee Zscaler’s operations across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, Southeast Asia, South Korea and Greater China. His responsibilities will include regional business strategy, investments and team expansion.
He joined Zscaler in 2024 as Vice President and Managing Director for Greater Asia. During the past two years, he has overseen expansion in markets including South Korea, Indonesia and the Philippines. Zscaler also opened a new office in Singapore during this period.
Zscaler Expands AI Security Focus
Yadave has more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector. Before joining Zscaler, he held leadership positions at VMware, Amazon Web Services and BT, working across major Asia Pacific markets.
His appointment comes as enterprise adoption of agentic AI creates new cybersecurity and governance requirements. AI agents can access business applications, data and systems, increasing the need for controls around identity, access and data security.
Zscaler said Yadave will work with customers and partners across APJ as the company expands its cybersecurity business in the region.
