The US-based food delivery company has opened a new global technology hub in Hyderabad. The centre will initially have around 500 employees and will handle customer support and administrative operations.

The new Hyderabad centre will support DoorDash’s operations across global markets. It will also become the company’s third customer support-based service hub globally, after facilities in Tempe, Arizona, and Mexico City.
The expansion gives DoorDash its second technology office in India. The company already has a technology centre in Pune, where teams work on software, data and analytics. DoorDash established its Pune presence following its 2021 acquisition of robotics startup Chowbotics.
Hyderabad GCC Expansion
DoorDash’s expansion comes as Hyderabad continues to attract global companies setting up technology and Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
Companies are increasingly using GCCs in India for technology, data, customer support, finance and other global operations. A 2026 Nasscom-Zinnov report cited by Reuters said India had more than 2,100 GCCs employing around 2.36 million people and generating nearly $100 billion in revenue.
The Telangana government said the DoorDash hub is expected to grow to more than 3,000 professionals and support the company’s international operations.
With the new centre, DoorDash joins several global companies that have expanded their technology and operations presence in Hyderabad, adding to the city’s growing pool of global technology and service jobs.
