Bhubaneshwar: The Odisha government has executed a significant reshuffle by transferring 18 senior IAS officers.
Satyabrata Sahu has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Home Department, while D.K. Singh is the new ACS of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department. Sahu will also oversee the Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department. Singh will continue to serve as Special Relief Commissioner and Managing Director of the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority.
Surendra Kumar has been named ACS of the Steel and Mines Department, retaining additional roles in several key departments, including General Administration and Parliamentary Affairs. Hemant Sharma will now oversee the Energy Department and his current duties.
Usha Padhee has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Housing & Urban Development, with additional responsibilities in Commerce and Transport. These strategic appointments are part of the state’s efforts to optimize administrative efficiency.
