Lucknow: The government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the transfer and fresh postings of 3 Indian Police Service Officers in the Lucknow Commissionerate. According to the official notice, IPS Aparna Gupta (2015 batch) will take charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Women Crime and Security. Previously she served as the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Mahoba.
The other two officers who have been transferred are:
IPS Anil Kumar Yadav (2018 batch) has been appointed the DCP of Police Headquarters. He earlier held the post of Additional DCP in the Police Commissionerate of Gautam Buddh Nagar.
IPS Ram Nayan Singh, who was last posted as the DCP at the Police Headquarters, has been reassigned as the DCP of the North Division.
