Bengaluru: Zoomcar, the self-drive car-sharing platform, has partnered with Mappls’ MapmyIndia to streamline travel planning for road trips. This collaboration integrates Zoomcar’s fleet of over 25,000 cars with Mappls’ AI-powered travel platform, making car bookings and trip planning easier for users.
Through this partnership, travelers can now book Zoomcar vehicles directly on the Mappls app, which features navigation tools like 3D junction views, real-time safety alerts, and speed warnings. The move is aimed at improving user experience by offering features like zero security deposits, unlimited kilometers, and convenient car pick-up and delivery. Both companies see the partnership as a step towards enhancing the road trip experience in India, making it simpler and more efficient.
Zoomcar’s CEO, Hiroshi Nishijima, and Mappls’ CEO, Rohan Verma, emphasized the importance of collaboration in expanding their services and improving travel convenience for users. The integration is expected to attract a tech-savvy audience looking for an all-in-one travel planning solution.
