Bengaluru: Uber has collaborated with the Indian Air Force (IAF) to offer transportation solutions for Air Force personnel, veterans, and their families across the country. This partnership aims to leverage Uber’s services to provide reliable and convenient transportation services for official travel and daily commutes.
Under the partnership, the Indian Air Force will benefit from enhanced travel experiences through Uber’s automated processes, digitalized journeys, and change management systems. This move is part of the IAF’s broader efforts to improve mobility for its members by adopting innovative and technology-driven solutions. Uber sees this collaboration as a significant step in supporting the Indian Armed Forces by providing tailored mobility services.
Air Marshal RK Anand presided over the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was executed by AVM Updesh Sharma from the IAF and Mr. Abhinav Mittoo, Senior Country General Manager for Uber India and South Asia.
