Srinagar: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has orchestrated a major bureaucratic reshuffle under which it mandated transfers and fresh postings of 8 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS).
As per the official orders, IPS Gurinderpal Singh has been appointed as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Baramulla. He is currently serving as the Director of Police Telecommunication.
Other transferred officers include:
IPS Sandeep Wazir, last serving as SSP of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), has been appointed as the Additional Inspector General (AIG) Personnel at the Police Headquarters (PHQ)
IPS Rajesh Kumar Sharma has been assigned as SSP Security Jammu.
IPS Mumtaz Ahmad, previously SSP Poonch, is now appointed as the Commandant, IRP 12.
IPS Mohd Aslam, currently SSP Doda, will now serve as Commandant, IRP 24.
IPS Bisma Qazi has been posted as SP City East Srinagar.
IPS Raghav S, presently Additional SP Budgam, has been appointed as the SSP of Ganderbal.
IPS Gaurav Sikarwar, last serving as SSP Reasi, has been reappointed as SSP Rajouri.
