Raipur: In a significant administrative move, the government of Chhatisgarh has assigned new roles to four officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS).Â
IPS Anand Chabra (2001 batch) has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Scheduled Caste and Tribal Cell and Training.
Other transferred officers include:
- IPS Deepanshu Kabra (1997 batch), presently the Additional Director General of Police, has been given charge of the Scheduled Caste and Tribal Cell and Training Division.Â
- IPS Dhruv Gupta (2005 batch) has been given the post of IGP for Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems and the State Crime Records Bureau.
- IPS Arvind Kujur (2010 batch) has been made the Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Chhatisgarh Armed Force (CAF).
