New Delhi: Kanse Dhairyashil Vijay has been appointed as the Joint Managing Director for Extension and Business Development at the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED).
According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Vijay, an IRS officer from the 2010 batch, will take up the role on deputation for five years. He is expected to focus on expanding NAFED’s business activities and support agricultural cooperatives across the country.
The DoPT has instructed that Vijay be relieved of his current duties immediately to begin his new assignment. His appointment comes as part of NAFED’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership and improve marketing strategies for agricultural products.
