Mumbai: Reliance Industries Limited has appointed Ira Bindra as the Group President – People and Talent. In this role, she will work closely with the company’s leadership, including the Chairman, Directors, and Executive Committee, to drive organizational transformation focusing on workforce, culture, and leadership.
With extensive experience in leading HR strategies across diverse industries and regions, Bindra’s responsibilities at Reliance will involve shaping initiatives aimed at building a high-performing organizational culture aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
Prior to this, Bindra was Vice President and Head of Human Resources for Global Regions at Medtronic. At Medtronic, she oversaw operations across more than 120 countries spanning the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. Her role involved integrating HR operations across these geographies and implementing strategic initiatives to streamline global workforce management.
Reliance’s decision to bring Bindra on board reflects the company’s focus on strengthening its people-centric strategies as it undergoes transformation across its business verticals.
