Hilton has today announced a partnership with the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Under the association, Hilton is supporting meaningful career opportunities for retired army personnel, ex-servicemen, and their families, recognising their invaluable service to the nation. AWPO, a dedicated non-profit organisation by the Indian Army, operates 17 regional offices and 49 placement centres across India, actively supporting veterans and their families in finding additional employment.
With shared values like leadership, integrity and teamwork, veterans, spouses and dependants become a natural fit for Hilton, a company which is committed to creating a best-in-class workplace environment that fosters pride, meaningful connections and a sense of belonging. Through this partnership, Hilton will support veterans in their search for career opportunities that align with their skills and aspirations across Hilton’s South Asia properties.

Under this initiative, AWPO will facilitate candidate selection, while Hilton’s recruitment team will conduct interviews to identify roles suited to their expertise. Hilton will provide tailored training and upskilling programs to ease the transition of army personnel into the civilian workforce.
