New Delhi: ReNew, a leading renewable energy company, has announced the appointment of Garima Garg as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its manufacturing unit. Garima, who has been with ReNew since December 2020, previously served as Senior Vice President and Head HR, Solar Projects, and Manufacturing.
With over two decades of experience in human resources and consulting, Garima has held key roles at renowned firms, including Deloitte, Korn Ferry Hay Group, PwC, HSBC, and Genpact. She specializes in HR strategy, talent management, and organizational transformation.
Garima’s consulting experience includes five years at Korn Ferry Hay Group as a Consultant, where she focused on leadership development and HR advisory. She also worked at PwC as a People and Change Consultant, contributing to HR transformation projects. Earlier in her career, she served as Manager, Learning and Development at HSBC, enhancing employee training programs.
Her educational background is equally impressive, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from XLRI School of Business and Management and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from Cornell University. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University.
In her new role, Garima is expected to lead HR initiatives for ReNew’s growing manufacturing unit, focusing on talent development, workforce planning, and organizational culture to support the company’s expansion in the renewable energy sector.
