Lucknow: In a significant late-night decision on Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh government announced a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring four IAS officers to new positions with immediate effect, including IAS Bhawani Singh Khangarot, IAS Riya Kejriwal, IAS Sarthak Agarwal and IAS Dr Pooja Gupta.
As per the official notification, IAS Bhawani Singh Khangarot (2010 batch), has been transferred from the role of Managing Director, Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited to Director (Administration), Medical and Health Services Department.

IAS Riya Kejriwal (2017 batch) has been moved from Additional Commissioner, State Tax to Managing Director, Madhyanchal Vidyut Nigam.
IAS Sarthak Agarwal (2021 batch) has been transferred from the post of Joint Magistrate, Varanasi to the post of Chief Development Officer (CDO), Basti.
IAS Dr Pooja Gupta (2020 batch) has been shifted from the role of Joint Magistrate, Ghaziabad, and appointed as the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Chandauli.
This reshuffle aims to enhance administrative efficiency and optimize the governance structure in the state. Further transfers may be expected as part of the government’s continuous efforts to improve service delivery.
