Patna:Â As part of an administrative reshuffle, the government of Bihar has transferred and assigned new roles to two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including IAS Ananya Singh and IAS Krishan Kumar.
According to the official notification by the state’s General Administration Department, IAS Ananya Singh (2020 batch), originally from the Bengal cadre, has been transferred to the Bihar cadre. She has been appointed as the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) of Aurangabad district.
In addition, Singh has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Aurangabad Zilla Parishad.
Additionally, IAS Krishan Kumar, who was serving as Joint Secretary in the Commercial Taxes Department, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary in the Road Construction Department.
These transfers come as part of the government’s efforts to streamline administration and enhance efficiency across departments.
