Ranchi: As part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Jharkhand has announced the transfers and fresh postings of 57 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The move includes both transfers and allocation of additional charges to the bureaucrats. As per the official notification, IAS Amitabh Kaushal (2001 batch) has been appointed Secretary of the Commercial Tax Department.
In addition, Kaushal has also been entrusted with the charge of Secretary of the Excise and Probation Department.
The list of other notable transfers includes
- IAS Rajesh Kumar Sharma (2003 batch) has been appointed Secretary of the Disaster Management Division and will also serve as the Civil Defence Commissioner.
- IAS Arwa Rajkamal (2008 batch) has been given multiple responsibilities, including Secretary of the Building Construction Department, Managing Director of the Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Ltd., Resident Commissioner of Jharkhand Bhawan, Secretary of the Mines and Geology Department, Secretary of of the Industries Department, Chairman of the Jharkhand State Mineral Development Corporation Ltd., and an additional charge as Mines Commissioner.Â
- IAS A. Dodde (2011 batch) has been made Special Secretary of the Revenue, Registration, and Land Reforms Department. He will also hold additional charge as Director of the Land Acquisition, Land Records, and Measurement Department.
- IAS Rajeshwari B (2011 batch) has been transferred from the Finance Department and posted as Director of the Panchayati Raj Department.Â
