Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has issued transfer and posting orders for 13 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including IAS M. Thennarasan, and this reshuffle has impacted several key departments across the state.
As per the official order by the state government, IAS M. Thennarasan (2000 batch), who was serving as Principal Secretary, Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department, has now been appointed as Principal Secretary, Urban Development & Urban Housing Department.

- IAS Ashwani Kumar (1997 batch): Transferred from Principal Secretary, Urban Development & Urban Housing to Principal Secretary, Sports, Youth & Cultural Activities Department. He will continue to hold additional charge of Legislative & Parliamentary Affairs.
- IAS Ramesh Chand Meena (1997 batch): Retains his role as Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, and has been given additional charge of the Ports and Transport Department.
- IAS Milind Shivaram Torawane (2000 batch): Posted as Principal Secretary, Panchayats, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department. He will also serve as Commissioner of Rural Development and Principal Secretary (Rural Development), in addition to continuing as Managing Director, GSPC.
- IAS Arti Kanwar (2001 batch): Secretary, Finance (Economic Affairs), has been assigned additional charge as Secretary, Finance (Expenditure).
- IAS Jenu Devan (2006 batch): Superintendent of Stamps & Inspector General of Registration, will also serve as Managing Director, Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd., Vadodara.
- IAS Prabhav Joshi (2014 batch): Collector, Rajkot, has been appointed as Managing Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd., Gandhinagar.
- IAS Ashish Kumar (2014 batch): Collector, Panchmahals-Godhra, posted as Director, Tribal Development, Gandhinagar, with additional charge as CEO, D-SAG.
- IAS Tejas Dilipbhai Parmar (2016 batch): MD, Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd., is now posted as Municipal Commissioner, Junagadh.
- IAS Dr. Om Prakash (2016 batch): Outgoing Municipal Commissioner of Junagadh, will now be Collector, Rajkot.
- IAS Ankit Pannu (2018 batch): Moved from DDO, Narmada-Rajpipla to DDO, Jamnagar.
- IAS Suthar Raj Rameshchandra (2019 batch): Transferred from DDO, Dangs-Ahwa to DDO, Narmada-Rajpipla.
- IAS Patil Anand Ashok (2021 batch): Project Administrator, Tribal Area Sub Plan, Dangs-Ahwa, will also hold additional charge as DDO, Dangs-Ahwa.
This reshuffle is aimed at optimising governance and strengthening administrative efficiency across departments in Gujarat.
