Aizawl: The Mizoram government has launched the Vantlang Viltu (Citizen’s Eye) mobile application in Serchhip.
This app enables citizens to report issues, grievances and incidents they witness in their localities. These reports can be done directly to the authorities in a systematic manner.
This application will.be developed by the Serchhip deputy commissioner’s office in collaboration with the NIC.
The app allows citizens to report issues like illegal waste dumping, road damage, theft, law & order problems, health hazards, fire incidents, transformer breakdowns, power issues, traffic violations and water supply problems that require government attention.
The application will assist the government in improving public service delivery and governance. The government plans to replicate the app in other districts.
Citizen’s Eye is a meaningful step towards bridging the government and the people. This will ensure a quick response to public grievances and urgent needs.
