Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has undertaken a minor administrative reshuffle under which it has assigned additional charges to two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. As part of the move, IAS Sanyukta Samaddar, Principal Secretary of Political Pension, Civil Defence, Minority Welfare, and Muslim Waqf Department, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Administrative Reforms and Public Service Management Department, as well as Director, Administrative Reforms, alongside her existing duties.
Additionally, IAS Amit Kumar Ghosh, currently the Principal Secretary, Secretariat Administration, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries Department. These departments were previously spearheaded by IAS Ravindra Nayak, who has retired from the position.
