Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on 1 October announced development works worth Rs 362 crore during his visit to Jaitaran under the state’s Seva Pakhwada programme. Alongside, he transferred Rs 209 crore directly into the accounts of 1.87 lakh construction workers and their dependents.
The projects in Rajasthan include 10 hostels, five Chief Minister Rehabilitation Homes, a Government Devnarayan Residential School at Ras in Jaitaran, 16 roads, and 71 water structures, with a combined investment exceeding Rs 80 crore. The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for 30 new hostels, 21 road projects, seven sub-health centres, and a 33/11 KV sub-station at Anandpur Kalu, with allocations amounting to over Rs 281 crore.
Reviewing the Seva Pakhwada initiative, Sharma said the state has been organising service camps across rural and urban areas to expand access to government schemes. According to official data, more than 4,100 rural service camps have been held so far, where cases related to name transfers, document corrections, and pending applications were addressed.
Through these camps, over 82,000 policies have been distributed under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, while nearly 78,000 pending cases on the NFSA portal have been cleared. Around 64,000 property titles have been issued under the Swamitva Yojana, and about 85,000 animals have been insured through the Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana. In urban camps, authorities have distributed more than 8,000 property titles and issued over 42,000 certificates.
The state government has positioned Seva Pakhwada as a governance outreach effort, focusing on delivering welfare measures and infrastructure projects while monitoring the progress of pending schemes across districts.
