New Delhi: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has rolled out a new course called YUVA AI for ALL under the IndiaAI Mission.
The free program aims to help people across the country understand the basics of artificial intelligence. It focuses on students, young professionals, and anyone curious about how AI works and how it affects daily life.
A short and practical learning path
The course runs for about four and a half hours and follows a self-paced format. It introduces core ideas of AI in simple language. It also uses real examples from India to help learners relate to the concepts. The content covers what AI is, how it works, and how it is already shaping classrooms, creative fields, and workplaces.
One part of the course explains how to use AI tools safely. Another shares Indian case studies where AI is making a difference. The final module gives a look at emerging opportunities that may open up as AI continues to grow.
The course is available on FutureSkills Prime, iGOT Karmayogi, and other ed tech platforms. Learners who complete it receive a certificate from the Government of India.
Why the program matters
YUVA AI for ALL is free and open to anyone. It lets people learn wherever they are and at their own speed. It also helps learners pick up skills that can support future jobs. The program is part of the country’s effort to raise digital awareness and make sure more citizens understand AI in a responsible way.
A step toward an AI-ready India
MeitY plans to train one crore people in foundational AI skills through this effort. The goal is to narrow the digital divide and encourage ethical and inclusive use of AI. Schools, colleges, and organizations can partner with IndiaAI to promote the course and offer it to their communities.
The course has been developed by AI author Jaspreet Bindra. It brings together global knowledge and the Indian context to help more people join the country’s growing AI journey.
