Bhopal, Apr 14 (APAC Media): The Madhya Pradesh government has undertaken a major bureaucratic reshuffle ahead of the census process scheduled to begin on 16th April 2026. As per the official order, IAS Kaushlendra Vikram Singh has been appointed as the Secretary to the Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Singh currently serves as the District Collector of Bhopal.
Subsequently, IAS Priyanka Mishra has been appointed as the new District Collector of Bhopal. She currently serves as the Collector of Dhar.
Other IAS transfers in the state are as follows:
IAS Krishna Gopal Tiwari, currently the Commissioner of Narmadapuram, has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner of the Social Justice Department. He has been succeeded by IAS Shrikant Banoth, who previously served as the Commissioner of the Town and Country Planning Department.
IAS Shilpa Gupta, currently the Commissioner of the Public Instruction Department, has been transferred and appointed as the Secretary, Home Affairs, replacing IAS Abhishek Singh, who has now been appointed as the Commissioner of Public Instruction.
IAS Ravindra Kumar Chaudhary, currently Collector of Shivpuri, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary of the Narmada Valley Development (NVD) Authority.
IAS Pratima Pal, currently the Collector of Rewa, has been transferred and assigned the role of Collector of Sagar.
IAS Rajiv Ranjan Meena, currently the Commissioner of the Institutional Finance Department, has been transferred and appointed as the Collector of Dhar.
IAS Dheeraj Kumar Jain, currently the Collector of Umaria, has been transferred and posted as the Additional Secretary of Aviation Department.
IAS Narendra Suryavanshi, currently the Collector of Betul, has been transferred and posted as the new Collector of Rewa.
IAS Sonia Meena, currently the Collector of Narmadapuram, has been transferred to the role of Additional Secretary of the Finance Department.
