Hyderabad: The Telangana government has carried out a major reshuffle in the state police setup with the transfer and posting of 32 IPS officers across key wings. Senior officer IPS Devendra Singh Chauhan of the 1997 batch has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (Personnel) at the DGP office.
He will also hold full additional charge as ADGP, Multizone-II, Hyderabad. His new assignment places him in an important role that oversees personnel management and zonal supervision.
Several mid-level and senior officers have also been moved into new posts across Hyderabad City Police, CID, Anti-Narcotics Bureau, and district police units.

IPS Srinivasulu (2006 batch) has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (Crimes), Hyderabad City.

IPS Dr. Chetana Mylabathula (2013 batch) has been made Deputy Director, RBVRR TGPA.
IPS K. Narayana Reddy (2013 batch) has become DCP, Maheshwaram Zone, Rachakonda.
IPS P. V. Padmaja (2013 batch) has been appointed SP (Administration), Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau.
IPS Patil Sangramsingh Ganapatrao (2015 batch) has been made SP, Nagarkurnool.
IPS Khare Kiran Prabhakar (2017 batch) has become DCP, South Zone, Hyderabad City.
IPS Chennuri Rupesh (2017 batch) has taken charge as DCP, SM&I, Hyderabad City
IPS Shabarish P (2017 batch) has been made SP, Mahabubabad.
IPS Nitika Pant (2017 batch) has been appointed SP, Komurambheem Asifabad.
IPS R. Giridhar (2017 batch) has been made SP, Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau.
