Gandhinagar: Gujarat Gas Limited has appointed senior IAS Avantika Singh Aulakh as Additional Director and Managing Director.
The appointment follows a notification issued by the Government of Gujarat.
Aulakh brings more than two decades of administrative experience to the role. She has served as District Collector in key districts of Gujarat and has held senior positions in the state’s Energy and Petrochemicals Department. Her career also includes leadership roles at major infrastructure and industrial bodies such as the Gujarat Maritime Board, Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board, Gujarat Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation, and Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals.
Aulakh’s appointment is seen as a strategic step to align Gujarat Gas’s governance and operations with the state’s broader infrastructure, energy, and industrial policy priorities.
Gujarat Gas Limited is a government of Gujarat undertaking and part of the GSPC Group. The company operates in the city gas distribution sector, supplying piped natural gas and compressed natural gas across multiple regions of the state. It serves industrial, commercial, and retail customers and plays a central role in Gujarat’s efforts to expand cleaner and sustainable fuel infrastructure.
