New Delhi:Â The Jashpur District Administration, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) and EDCIL (India) Limited have signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen digital education in government schools.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who lauded the initiative for encouraging innovation and technical skills among students.
Interactive Panels for Modern Classrooms
Under the MoU, 206 interactive digital panels will be installed in selected government schools across Jashpur district in a phased manner. The panels will allow teachers to conduct interactive classes using digital content, videos, presentations, and e-learning resources, making classroom teaching more engaging and effective.
The project also includes comprehensive training for teachers to ensure the smooth operation of the panels. Regular maintenance and technical support have been built into the plan to ensure long-term and sustainable use of the technology.
CSR Support from SECL
SECL has sanctioned Rs. 5 crore for the project under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The investment is expected to benefit hundreds of students by providing access to quality digital education and improving learning outcomes in government schools.
